Quynh Son receives the title of "World's Best Tourist Village 2025".

The title of " World's Best Tourist Village 2025" awarded to Quynh Son (Lang Son) was selected by the United Nations Tourism Organization (UN Tourism) based on criteria related to core values of natural resources and local culture, as well as innovative actions and commitments to tourism development in line with the United Nations' sustainable development goals.

Accordingly, in February 2025, the Lang Son Provincial Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion prepared a dossier to submit to the Vietnam National Tourism Administration for submission to UN Tourism for consideration of the title.

After a selection process from 270 applications from 65 countries, Quynh Son was honored at the awards ceremony in Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province (China) on October 17, 2025.

This award not only honors a local tourist destination in Lang Son but also contributes to helping Vietnam's tourism industry orient, promote, and develop in a sustainable, responsible direction that brings economic and cultural benefits to the local community, as well as marking Lang Son's position on the world tourism map.

Mr. Trinh Minh Tuan, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Son commune, affirmed that the title of "Best Tourist Village in the World 2025" received by Quynh Son community tourism village reflects the unity of the government and the community, becoming a driving force for Bac Son to develop sustainable, friendly tourism with a strong local identity.

Ms. Tran Thi Bich Hanh, Deputy Director of the Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center of Lang Son province, added that the awarding of this title to Quynh Son village is an opportunity for Lang Son to promote its local tourism brand to the international market.

"We will continue to work alongside the local community in developing new products, attracting investment, and spreading the sustainable community tourism model," Ms. Bich Hanh expressed.

On this occasion, Lang Son province also officially inaugurated the "Bac Son Golden Harvest Festival 2025," which will last from now until November 15th. Many activities will take place at the festival, including rice pounding competitions, black sticky rice cake making, rice harvesting, SUP rafting in the golden valley, OCOP product exhibitions, highland culinary spaces, and a tourism fair.

The event promises to attract many domestic and international tourists to participate and experience a cultural space rich in national identity.

Over the years, Lang Son province has focused on building the brand of Quynh Son community tourism village into a green and sustainable community tourism destination. The locality has concentrated on improving infrastructure while protecting the environment, along with preserving the landscape and traditional architecture.
