A famous Malaysian male singer was taken to the police station for allegedly failing to pay his rent and electricity bills for several months, Metro Daily reported.
Specifically, the woman claiming to be the landlord called the police and requested the singer's arrest. The reason this person revealed was that the singer had not paid his rent since June this year, amounting to RM3,000 (over VND15.4 million). Not to mention, he owed an electricity bill of RM6,770 (about VND34.8 million).
Not only did the singer deliberately not pay his rent and electricity bills, he was also accused of being irresponsible and dissolute. Despite the landlord's repeated requests to leave, he ignored them and continued to stay.
In retaliation, the singer often made noise, destroyed neighbors' property, kept many cats, littered, and caused a foul smell that upset those living nearby.
The singer has now been taken to the police station for questioning. There, he did not deny not paying his rent and electricity bills, but refused to give a reason. According to the police, he will be released after the two parties reach a settlement.
The identity of the male singer has not been revealed. According to some sources, he was one of the most famous male singers in Malaysia in the 1990s. The identity of the male singer is a hot topic on social networking sites in Malaysia.
