Launching the movement "Train Road"

In the exciting atmosphere of spring, on February 10, Vietnam Railways Corporation held a launching ceremony of the "Train - Flower Road" movement and the " Tet tree planting" program in the spring of At Ty 2025 at Kep station. This is an activity demonstrating the railway industry's sense of responsibility towards the environment, the landscape of the route, the station and towards future generations.

The movement of planting trees every spring is a precious tradition initiated by President Ho Chi Minh . Spring is the beginning of good things, and planting more rows of trees not only helps improve the living environment but is also a symbol of sustainable development, the responsibility of each of us towards future generations.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy General Director Nguyen Chinh Nam said: "The "Train - Flower Road" movement has spread widely and received enthusiastic response from organizations, individuals and employees in the Corporation. With the motto "Each route - A flower, Each station - A destination" we aim to build a railway that is not only safe, friendly and convenient, but also contributes to beautifying the landscape on both sides of the railway, raising awareness of environmental protection, and improving working conditions for staff and workers".

The Deputy General Director emphasized, "Railways are not only important traffic arteries but also a fresh image of the Railway industry and the country in the eyes of the people and tourists. Therefore, maintaining this movement is not only today but also needs to be done regularly and continuously, contributing to raising public awareness and protecting the sustainable living environment.

Mr. Dang Ngoc Long Long, Director of Ha Lang Railway Exploitation Branch, said that in 2024, the Branch organized 2 tree planting campaigns at Bac Le and Voi Xo stations, planting 1,250 trees. Regularly launching the "Train and Flower Road" movement has created cohesion and good relationships with local authorities and people living along both sides of the railway, creating a habit of participating in tree planting movements launched by the railway and volunteering to take care of and protect the landscape environment where the railway passes.

After the launching ceremony of the movement, the leaders of Vietnam Railway Corporation, the leaders of Ha Lang Railway Economic Branch and units in Bac Giang region participated in planting 1015 yellow bell flowers in the North and South of Kep station.

Also on this occasion, on behalf of the leaders of Vietnam Railway Corporation, Deputy General Director Nguyen Chinh Nam presented gifts and New Year wishes to cadres, employees, youth union members and workers of Kep station.
