(DN)- In the meeting held on April 17 on resettlement for projects in Dong Nai, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Ha requested Bien Hoa city to review temporary housing areas in the area to consider and propose repairing them into public housing, and at the same time, review headquarters of units that are no longer in use to convert their functions into public housing to serve the arrangement of officials and civil servants when merging provinces.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Ha also requested the Department of Construction to send a document to the Binh Phuoc Provincial People's Committee to assess the need for public housing for officials and civil servants when the two localities merge to proactively prepare for arrangement.

According to the Project on rearranging and reorganizing administrative units at all levels and building a 2-level local government organization model approved by the Government in Decision No. 759/QD-TTg (April 14, 2025), Binh Phuoc province and Dong Nai province will merge into a new province called Dong Nai province, with the political and administrative center located in Bien Hoa city, Dong Nai province today.
