Reviewing the signaling system after the accident on the Cau Gie - Ninh Binh highway

The Vietnam Road Administration is requesting the Vietnam Expressway Corporation (VEC) to proactively inspect and review the existing road signaling system and road traffic infrastructure on the Cau Gie - Ninh Binh expressway.

Vietnam Road Administration also requested VEC to increase regular maintenance and handle existing problems and shortcomings (if any) to ensure the route is always safe and smooth, improving traffic safety.

VEC continues to coordinate with local authorities and relevant agencies in dealing with the consequences; visiting families and relatives of the victims, and paying attention to cases of injured foreigners.

For Road Management Area 1, the Vietnam Road Administration requires the VEC to perform its state management role and control the accident recovery work. At the same time, closely coordinate with the VEC and local authorities in the work of: traffic diversion and guidance; reviewing risky areas; and preventing similar accidents.
