Reviewing the need to transfer schools to Ca Mau for children of officials

(BL-NQ) On May 16, 2025, Mr. Nguyen Van Nguyen - Acting Director of the Department of Education and Training of Bac Lieu signed Official Dispatch 787 of the Department to provincial agencies on reviewing the need to transfer schools of children of cadres, civil servants, and public employees when implementing the arrangement of provincial administrative units.

Tran Phu Primary School (Ward 7, Bac Lieu City) has many children of provincial officials studying there.

This is to facilitate high school students who are children of officials, civil servants and public employees who need to transfer schools to new workplaces in Ca Mau province after the merger of Bac Lieu province and Ca Mau province.

Provincial departments, branches and sectors compile the list and send it to the Department of Education and Training before May 23.

According to Project 02 on the arrangement of Bac Lieu and Ca Mau provinces issued by the People's Committee of Ca Mau province on April 29, 2025, Bac Lieu province currently has 15 agencies and public service units of the Party, the Fatherland Front, and socio-political organizations, with 327 cadres, civil servants, and public employees; in the provincial-level State sector, there are 13 specialized agencies, with 842 cadres, civil servants, and public employees.

When the National Assembly issues a Resolution on the arrangement of provincial administrative units, the majority of cadres, civil servants and public employees of the current provincial agencies of Bac Lieu province will move to the new political-administrative center of Ca Mau province located in the current Ca Mau city to work, so it is predicted that the demand for transferring schools for children will be large.

Reviewing the need to transfer schools is a proactive step by the government to ensure citizens’ right to education and create conditions for parents to work with peace of mind. This is to ensure the transfer process goes smoothly, stabilize students’ studies and help officials, civil servants and public employees feel secure when performing their duties at their new workplace.
