This is the motto for the enthusiastic young teacher Do Thi Thu Thuy, teacher at Hoang Van Thu Primary School ( Lao Cai city, Lao Cai province) to strive to inspire the community in protecting the environment.
Accompanying Ms. Do Thi Thu Thuy are thousands of volunteers from primary to high school levels in Lao Cai province. Ms. Thuy has spread the movement "Green Hoang Van Thu - Green Lao Cai - Green Vietnam" beyond the school's framework.
She mobilized cadres, teachers, staff, and students to participate in collecting and classifying garbage inside and outside school campuses and residential areas in the area.
In particular, campaigns in residential areas, historical sites, Thuy Hoa park, the Red River route... have contributed to making Lao Cai city green, clean and beautiful.
Recently, she and her teammates organized the program "Sowing green seeds, sending love to Mother Nature" with a series of meaningful activities such as: Fashion show with the message "Green fashion replaces fast fashion"; planting 300 trees at school; launching the movement "Golden baby in the garbage collection village"; collecting used milk cartons in the project "Talking milk carton" at school.
Ms. Thuy is also an environmental speaker who actively participates in environmental protection activities and inspires people to love the environment.
"I, along with teachers, students and Green teammates, participated in planting Thai jackfruit trees to give to the people of Lang Nu (Bao Yen, Lao Cai), and simultaneously cleaned up trash in residential areas. These are meaningful activities that I hope will spread the message of environmental protection associated with community support," Ms. Thu Thuy shared.
According to Ms. Thuy, each teacher should become a "flame" that inspires students to love the environment. Not only is she an active environmental activist, Ms. Thuy also has many achievements in teaching, team work, culture and arts...
