The award ceremony of the “Qualcomm Vietnam Innovation Challenge 2025” QVIC competition, recently held within the framework of the InnoEx 2025 International Forum and Exhibition on Innovation, is not only an award ceremony, but also a testament to the maturity and breakthrough of the Vietnamese technology startup ecosystem.

This year’s program, the fourth time it was held, ended with impressive achievements, marking a new step forward in the country’s innovation journey. QVIC 2025 is co-organized by Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. and is accompanied and supported by the Ministry of Science and Technology of Vietnam.

The overall goal of the competition is to create a comprehensive environment to nurture and promote start-ups through a series of meaningful activities: from training, technical and business consulting by leading experts, to preferential support for patent registration. This not only helps start-ups perfect their products but also affirms a strong commitment to protecting intellectual property and enhancing commercialization value, thereby increasing competitiveness in the international arena.

According to Mr. Pham Hong Quat, Director of the National Agency for Science and Technology Entrepreneurship and Entrepreneurship (NATEC), this is truly an important “launching pad”, creating an environment for start-ups to receive systematic training, practical testing and bravely solve global challenges. He emphasized that the program contributes to stirring up a wave of investment in high-tech human resources, while inspiring the business community to join hands in creating a sustainable innovation ecosystem.

Held annually, QVIC has been affirming its role as a strong catalyst, encouraging the development of a dynamic emerging technology ecosystem in Vietnam. Start-ups not only have the opportunity to access and utilize the world's leading advanced mobile technology platform to develop products, but also connect with a network of experts, investors and strategic partners. From there, the boldest technology ideas are gradually realized, contributing to creating a bright digital future for Vietnam./.
