The 2025 Classic 650 continues to maintain the design DNA that has been synonymous with the Royal Enfield name for decades. The model has the image of a post-war British motorcycle with a rounded body, many shiny chrome details and hand-polished metal surfaces. Details such as the fenders, wheel hubs and engine covers are all finished in a matte nickel finish, evoking a nostalgic yet sophisticated feel. The front of the vehicle stands out with round LED headlights supplemented with a classic metal shield, giving it a strong yet elegant appearance. The familiar teardrop-shaped fuel tank - the symbol of Royal Enfield since 1954 continues to appear on the Classic 650, making the vehicle easily recognizable from a distance.
Despite its classic look, the Classic 650 is packed with modern technology. In addition to LED lights, a TFT clock, and GPS navigation, the bike also has a USB charging port, performance-optimized electronics, and dual-channel ABS for better braking control in a variety of road conditions. The low seat, high handlebars and wide steering angle make it easy for the driver to control the bike weighing more than 240 kg. The suspension is specially tuned to provide a smoother feel than the Super Meteor 650, aimed at customers who prioritize a relaxing, classic experience over speed. The new Royal Enfield Classic 650 2025 is based on the Super Meteor 650 and Shotgun 650 chassis, but has been tweaked to offer a more comfortable and classic riding position.
The bike rides on 19-inch spoked wheels at the front and 18-inch at the rear, with tubeless tires (100/90-19 at the front and 140/70-R18 at the rear). The front suspension is a traditional telescopic type, while the rear is a pair of twin spring shock absorbers supplied by the Showa brand, balancing between smoothness and road response. In terms of braking, the Classic 650 is equipped with single disc brakes on both wheels measuring 320 mm in the front and 300 mm in the rear, accompanied by two-piston calipers. A two-channel ABS system is standard. The vehicle weighs 243 kg and has a fuel tank capacity of 14.7 liters. Powering the Classic 650 is a 648cc, air-cooled, liquid-cooled, inline-twin engine that produces a maximum power of 46.4 horsepower at 7,250 rpm and a maximum torque of 52.3 Nm at 5,650 rpm.
The engine comes with a 6-speed manual transmission, providing smooth operation, suitable for both urban and long-distance travel. With a refined gear ratio, the Classic 650 aims for a smooth, responsive driving experience, which is the "trademark" of Royal Enfield vehicles. In Thailand, the Royal Enfield Classic 650 2025 is sold at a starting price of 7,700 - 8,000 USD (equivalent to about 189 - 197 million VND), with three different paint color options. It is predicted that this model will arrive in Vietnam around early 2026.
