Colorful lights welcome the new year of Giap Thin 2024

NDO - On the night of the 30th of Tet, on the occasion of welcoming the Spring of Giap Thin 2024, the People's Committee of Tay Ho District (Hanoi City) coordinated with the Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group ( Petrovietnam ), Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade (PVcomBank) to organize an artistic light show using 2,024 drones called "Hanoi Art Light Festival - Brilliant Thang Long" with the theme "A day in the capital - A thousand years of history".

Since the evening of February 9, all preparations have been completed by the coordinating units, ensuring the performance goes smoothly and successfully.

Drone light shows are a unique form of entertainment, a modern trend in today's festivals. Different from other types of light shows, drones with many combinations of movement and color, have the ability to arrange into 2D - 3D images with many meanings as well as suitable for many themes.

A large number of Hanoians and tourists gathered at the Van Cao intersection (Tay Ho district) to watch the special performance, which was performed for the first time on New Year's Eve.

At exactly 11:30 p.m., 2,024 drones symbolizing the year of the Dragon 2024 took off, lighting up the entire sky above West Lake.

Artistic lighting works telling the story "A day in the capital - A thousand years of history" light up the Hanoi sky on New Year's Eve.

The program “Hanoi Art Light Festival - Brilliant Thang Long” is a drone performance with a record number in Southeast Asia. Combined with specially composed music , a sound system and live broadcast screens installed around the West Lake area, it is a spectacular and novel performance for the capital's residents and visitors during the Lunar New Year 2024.
