Summer Dance
From early morning, the central campus was bustling with laughter, colorful performance costumes, and energetic warm-up dances from nearly 300 young people from 21 dance groups from the youth councils, youth houses of districts, towns, and cities; high schools and art clubs in the province. Among them, there were 15 performances from children and 6 performances from youth groups.
Not just simple performances, each performance at the contest is a work of art full of personality, creativity and clearly demonstrates the spirit of solidarity and teamwork of the students. The vibrant, modern melodies combined with good choreography created a lively atmosphere, captivating the audience from the beginning to the end of the program.
Ngo Nguyen Hoang Hien, leader of SEB-Y Crew (Hung Vuong High School, Dong Xoai City) shared: “The team members have practiced hard for two weeks to have a good performance on stage. When the music started, we all became one to burn with passion.”
Le Truong Bao Ngoc, a member of the OTK Club in Dong Xoai City, said: “I am very happy and excited to be participating in this year’s competition. My team and I have tried our best to achieve the best results and I hope that this summer there will be more playgrounds like this so that we can express ourselves, learn from each other and have a truly memorable summer.”
Summer begins with beautiful things
According to the representative of the Organizing Committee, the "Dance" contest is an important part of the series of summer activities in Binh Phuoc province this year, not only creating opportunities for children to show their talents and passion for art but also inspiring confidence and community connection among young people.
“Through the contest, we hope to sow the seeds of art, adding motivation to the youth of the whole province in their journey to nurture their dreams and develop themselves,” said Mr. Bui Xuan Dung, Director of the Provincial Youth Activity Center.
According to the jury of the competition, many dance groups have invested carefully in both technique and content, with rich creative ideas that are suitable to the psychology and tastes of today's youth.
After the exciting competition, the Organizing Committee awarded 21 prizes to the outstanding performances. In the children's category, the first prize went to the Baby Tiger group (OTK Club) - a young but talented team with expressive performances, solid techniques and professional style.
In the youth category, SEB-Y Crew (Hung Vuong High School) won first prize thanks to their breakthrough, powerful performance and extensive stage experience. In addition to the first, second, third and encouragement prizes, the Organizing Committee also awarded Promising prizes to encourage creativity and long-term development potential for children's dance groups.
The 2025 "Dance" contest not only kicks off a series of summer activities but is also an important stepping stone to help young people in Binh Phuoc province become more confident in asserting themselves and actively integrating into the community environment.
The 2025 summer activities of Binh Phuoc province promise to continue to explode with many other attractive programs such as the "Young Talent Search" Finals, experiential activities, and skill playgrounds. In particular, the "Dance" contest is an exciting warm-up for a summer full of experiences, connections, and development for Binh Phuoc youth.
