Mentioning the Mekong Delta immediately conjures images of gentle rivers, vast rice paddies, and honest, down-to-earth farmers.

Integrating technology into agricultural production.
The Mekong Delta is also facing significant challenges: climate change, saltwater intrusion, and outdated farming practices. These difficulties seemed insurmountable, but thanks to technological innovation, agriculture in the Western region is gradually transforming.
PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation (PVFCCo), with its Phu My Fertilizer brand, has pioneered the application of modern technology in agricultural production.
The DJI T50 drones, like iron birds, are changing farming methods. Gone are the days of laborious, time-consuming manual fertilization; now, in just minutes, drones help spread fertilizer evenly and accurately, saving costs and increasing productivity.
Mr. Cuong, a farmer in Hon Dat, Kien Giang , shared: "Previously, fertilizing took me a whole day, which was both tiring and expensive. Since having drones, the work has become much easier. Seeing the lush green rice fields and healthy rice plants makes me very happy."
It's not just Mr. Cuong; thousands of other farmers are also benefiting from this technology.
Drones not only save time and costs but also improve fertilizer efficiency. Thanks to intelligent sensor systems, the amount of fertilizer is adjusted to suit each area, helping rice plants absorb sufficient nutrients, minimizing excess fertilizer, and protecting the environment.
The lush green rice fields are not only a source of pride for farmers but also a testament to the sustainable development of Vietnamese agriculture.
There was a time when flocks of red-crowned cranes flew to the Mekong Delta, bringing peace. But then, climate change caused them to become scarce. Farmers gaze wistfully at the blue sky, longing for the sound of their wings flapping.
Now, that joy has returned, not from cranes, but from drones – these metal birds carrying hope and greenery back to the fields.
A story about believing in the future.

The story of the DJI T50 drone is not just a story of technology, but also a story of belief in the future.
In addition to supplying fertilizers, PVFCCo also organizes training sessions and provides technical guidance on drone usage.
Mr. Cuong recalled: "After witnessing it firsthand, everyone believed it. The drone's rotating disc technology helped the fertilizer particles disperse evenly. Phu My urea particles are smaller but disperse more widely and evenly than both DAP and potassium. The technicians even set up fertilizer traps to demonstrate that the amount of Phu My urea particles dispersed was significantly greater."
Drone technology is not only changing farming methods but also changing farmers' mindsets.
Mr. Ung, a farmer in Dong Thap Muoi, shared: "Since the introduction of drones, farming has become much easier. Previously, I was worried about the Phu My urea fertilizer having small, uneven granules, but after testing it and seeing that the rice plants were greener and healthier than the control group, I am completely reassured. Now, people around here even come to ask for the fertilization formula to follow."
Mr. Giàu, the owner of a drone-based fertilizer application service, affirmed: "Whether the fertilizer granules are large or small, the drone can apply them thanks to its intelligent sensor system, which helps adjust the amount of fertilizer accordingly. Farmers can rest assured that Phu My urea, when mixed with any other fertilizer, will guarantee effectiveness."
The joy of farmers in the Mekong Delta lies not only in a bountiful harvest but also in innovation and sustainable development.
Drones, technical training sessions, quality fertilizers – all aimed at a common goal: improving farmers' lives and developing sustainable agriculture.
Looking to the future, innovation in agriculture will continue to bring positive changes to the Mekong Delta.
Farmers in the Mekong Delta, deeply connected to the land and fields, are writing a story of sustainable development. In this journey, drones and Phu My fertilizers are reliable companions, bringing joy and hope to this region.
