Born into a poor family with no land for production, Ms. H'Ani had to work for hire to make a living. When joining the Ia Hrung Commune Farmers' Association, she was trained in farming and livestock raising techniques and had access to preferential loans. From there, she boldly changed the structure of crops and livestock to suit the land and market conditions.

Currently, her family has developed a comprehensive economic model with 4.5 hectares of coffee, more than 1 hectare of durian, pepper and livestock and poultry. Thanks to proper care, the coffee yield alone reaches about 15 tons of beans per year. Together with income from durian, pepper and other livestock, the family's annual profit reaches more than 1.5 billion VND.
Not only developing the family economy, Ms. H'Ani also creates stable jobs for 8 local workers with an average income of 6.5 million VND/person/month, and hires dozens of seasonal workers during the harvest season.
According to Ms. H'Ani, the secret to success lies in the application of science and technology to production. Her family has invested in a water-saving sprinkler irrigation system to help reduce labor costs, limit pests and increase crop yields.
Not only is Ms. H'Ani good at economics, she is also an exemplary party member, active in social movements. Every year, she helps 8-10 poor and near-poor farming households borrow nearly 100 million VND without interest to develop production; contributes more than 30 million VND to build the Farmers Support Fund; participates in charity activities, builds new rural areas, and maintains environmental hygiene.
With her practical contributions to the community and outstanding achievements in economic development, Ms. Puih H'Ani has been awarded many certificates of merit by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and the Farmers' Association at all levels. Recently, she was one of eight outstanding farmers of Gia Lai province to be honored to be selected to attend the 6th National Patriotic Emulation Congress of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Association held in Hanoi.
Mr. Siu HNit - Chairman of Ia Hrung Commune Farmers' Association - said: "Ms. Puih H'Ani's economic model is one of the typical examples, having a strong influence in the movement of farmers competing in good production and business in the commune. The Commune Farmers' Association is propagating and replicating this model to other villages and hamlets to encourage members to boldly apply science and technology, effectively exploit the potential of land to rise up and get rich."
