This event marks an important milestone in promoting the value of local cuisine , especially products made from cold-water fish - a characteristic agricultural product of Sa Pa.

At the event, the Organizing Committee assessed and announced 5 new culinary records, including: the largest sturgeon hot pot in Vietnam (100 kg); the largest and most beautiful jar of fine wine (250 liters); the largest plate of salmon puffed rice cakes (1 m in diameter); the largest platter of salmon fish cakes (10 kg); and the largest platter of sturgeon fish cakes (10 kg).

All products are made from local ingredients by chefs and artisans from Sa Pa, ensuring food safety, aesthetics, and preserving the authentic flavors of the mountains and forests.

The highlight of the program was the hot pot containing 100 kg of sturgeon. This sturgeon hot pot was prepared on a special scale, using only sturgeon raised in Sa Pa. Other dishes such as salmon crackers, salmon patties, sturgeon patties, and fine wine jars all showcased meticulous craftsmanship, reflecting the unique culinary culture of the highland people.

The record-setting ceremony is not only a performance but also opens up opportunities for strong promotion of Sa Pa's tourism and culinary industry. Honoring distinctive dishes helps increase the value of local products, create more livelihoods for the people, and contribute to building Sa Pa's image as a destination for unique experiences.
Immediately after the record announcement, tourists and delegates had the opportunity to directly enjoy the dishes and savor the fresh taste of cold-water fish – the pride of Sa Pa's cuisine.
