After 30 years of operation in Vietnam, Samsung Group has made many marks in accompanying the S-shaped country on the path of innovation, towards smart living and a sustainable future.

In 1995, Samsung officially set foot in Vietnam with its first TV factory. Since then, Samsung has continuously expanded its scale and affirmed its position as a leading enterprise in the technology field. Currently, this "giant" has operated 6 modern factories with sales and marketing offices nationwide, contributing to job creation, promoting exports, and making important contributions to Vietnam's socio- economic growth.

In 2022, Samsung inaugurated the largest Research and Development (R&D) Center in Southeast Asia in Hanoi , demonstrating its commitment to long-term investment and strategy of developing technology talent right in Vietnam.

Over the past three decades, Samsung has not only been the largest FDI investor in Vietnam with a total capital of 23.2 billion USD by the end of 2024, but also a trusted companion of millions of Vietnamese families on their journey to improve the quality of life. Vietnam is not only a global manufacturing hub for Samsung - where more than 2.35 billion smart products of the Galaxy ecosystem have been manufactured - but also a "gateway" to expand AI-integrated products and solutions to similar markets in Southeast Asia and Oceania. Currently, Vietnam has become one of Samsung's most important strategic bases globally, with outstanding capabilities in both production and research and development (R&D), where Vietnamese engineers are directly leading many key projects.
