Cloud hunting, summer wind bathing on Que Peak, Quang Nam

The peak of summer is also the time when Que peak, Tay Giang district ( Quang Nam province) is most beautiful. The old forest is layered under the clouds, giving the feeling that the earth and sky are one.

Taking advantage of this rare time of year, many foreign tourists and backpacking groups from Da Nang have explored the 120km route to the highlands of Quang Nam to enjoy the scenery.

Que Peak is about 4 hours away from Da Nang by car or motorbike. The road follows the mountainside and then crosses the Ho Chi Minh road towards the Lao border.

Que Peak is located at an altitude of 1,400m, a stopover on the road leading from the center of Tay Giang district towards the border. This tourist destination is beautiful thanks to its nature and altitude.

The forest is full of ancient trees tens of meters high, covered in a dense green color, layer upon layer like clumps of bushes.

In the early morning, clouds rolled in to cover the old forest. When the sun shone down, the clouds dried and gradually rose higher. The space was like a curtain of light opening up, airy and fresh.

Due to the advantage of high altitude and endless old forest, standing on the top of Que always feels cool. Tourists from all over the world have come to attract a number of small-scale accommodation establishments and local cuisine services to open right on the top of Que.

Guests can stay overnight, enjoy highland cuisine and listen to the magical, sacred movements of the old forest through the hours of day and night.
