With the drastic participation of the entire political system, the work of selecting and calling citizens to join the army in 2024 of the province has achieved high results, ensuring 100% of the target and improving the quality of young people joining the army compared to previous years. These days, all levels, sectors and localities in the province are urgently focusing on preparing for the handover ceremony to take place solemnly and safely; the new soldier training units have fully and thoughtfully prepared in all aspects to be ready to welcome and train new recruits.

In 2024, the whole province will have 2,214 citizens joining the army, including 10 female citizens volunteering to join the military. To achieve the target assigned by the Government , from the beginning of 2023, the Provincial Military Service Council has directed strongly, and at the same time assigned districts, towns, and cities to receive targets and strictly implement the steps of selecting and calling citizens to join the army according to regulations, such as: Political and policy review, calling for medical examination, issuing orders to call the best quality young people to join the military service... According to the assessment, the quality of young people recruited for military service this year in the whole province has increased. Of which, young people with type 1 and type 2 health account for nearly 50%; university, college, and intermediate levels reach nearly 13%.

To ensure good military recruitment, in addition to family responsibilities and youth obligations, ensuring military rear policies is one of the very important factors. This is to encourage and motivate young people to confidently join the army and fulfill their responsibilities as citizens in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.

For this year's military handover ceremony, the province has directed localities to complete all preparations by the afternoon of February 23, organize well the activities of visiting, encouraging, cultural and artistic exchanges, etc. to create a lively atmosphere among the people. At the same time, direct press and radio agencies to do a good job of propaganda before, during and after the military handover ceremony; the military service councils at all levels coordinate well with the military receiving units to bring the young men back to their units to ensure absolute safety.

This year, Ninh Hoa town was assigned by the province to select and call 473 young people to join the army. After receiving the decision of the Provincial People's Committee to assign the target, the Town Military Command coordinated with the police, departments and branches to advise the Town Military Service Council, especially advising the Standing Committee of the Town Party Committee, the Standing Committee of the Town Party Committee to focus on leading the work of selecting and calling citizens to join the army in 2024 to ensure 100% of the target. In general, the quality of young people joining the army this year is higher than in 2023 and previous years in terms of health, politics and education level. Of which, the rate of health type 1, type 2 reached 34.5%; intermediate, college and university level reached 34%; 150 young people wrote applications to volunteer to join the army. We have advised the local Party Committee and authorities to effectively implement the contents and measures to grasp the situation, manage and encourage young people who have been recruited for military service to feel secure and ready to join the army; step up propaganda and agitation for the people in the town. At the same time, we have done well the preparations for the military handover ceremony on the morning of February 25 to ensure compliance with regulations, solemnity, safety and 100% completion of the military handover target.

In 2024, the Training Center was assigned to train nearly 1,400 new soldiers. The officers, soldiers, and professional soldiers in the unit always clearly defined their tasks, had high determination; actively and proactively did well all preparations of models, teaching aids, lecture halls, training grounds, training grounds, books, lesson plans, barracks consolidation... ensuring completeness, timeliness, and compliance with regulations.

The Central Party Committee and Party Committees and Party cells have thoroughly grasped the resolutions and directives of the higher levels; promptly issued specialized resolutions to lead the implementation of the task of receiving and training new soldiers in 2024; built and strictly implemented plans, instructions on Party work, political work and the system of political work records in training new soldiers; prepared and drafted full lesson plans, supplemented materials to serve propaganda and agitation for training new soldiers; trained in receiving and training new soldiers... The work of ensuring logistics and techniques for the new training season has also been well prepared; cadres have been fully trained, models and teaching aids have been ensured.

In addition, to ensure the regime and life of the soldiers, the center has developed a plan to increase production in 2024, assigning specific targets to each agency and unit; receiving, purchasing, and distributing additional military medicine for the unit; proactively consolidating and repairing barracks to serve living and receiving new recruits... It can be said that the preparation work for the new training season has been completed, ensuring compliance with regulations so that the training launch ceremony is a festival for officers and soldiers, creating a vibrant competitive atmosphere right from the first day and first week of the 2024 training season.
