(HGO) - On January 24, a delegation from Hau Giang province led by Ms. Ho Thu Anh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, visited and extended New Year greetings to the Consul General of the Republic of Singapore in Ho Chi Minh City . Mr. Roy Kho, Consul General of the Republic of Singapore in Ho Chi Minh City received and worked with the delegation.
The Hau Giang delegation hopes that the Consulate General of the Republic of Singapore in Ho Chi Minh City will help the province connect with Singaporean agencies and businesses.
Ms. Ho Thu Anh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, informed Mr. Roy Kho, Consul General of the Republic of Singapore in Ho Chi Minh City about the socio -economic development situation of the province last year; the fields and industries in which the province is calling for and attracting investment, especially the preferential policies of the locality. It is expected that in mid-2024, the leaders of Hau Giang province will visit, work and seek investment opportunities in the province in Singapore. We hope that the Consul General of the Republic of Singapore in Ho Chi Minh City will support the province in connecting with Singaporean agencies and enterprises so that the province can exchange and learn experiences as well as establish and develop friendly and cooperative relations.
Ms. Ho Thu Anh presented New Year greetings from the province to the Consulate General of the Republic of Singapore in Ho Chi Minh City.
Mr. Roy Kho, Consul General of the Republic of Singapore in Ho Chi Minh City, thanked Hau Giang for its affection for Singapore. Mr. Roy Kho expressed his joy and readiness to support the Hau Giang delegation when they come to promote investment in Singapore in 2024. In the second quarter of 2024, a delegation of Singaporean food and beverage companies will come to the Mekong Delta. Mr. Roy Kho promised to introduce Hau Giang to the delegation so that businesses can learn and invest in areas where the province has advantages, further tightening the cooperative relationship between the two countries Vietnam and Singapore.
