On August 8, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Tourism said that in July, there were about 130,000 Korean visitors to Khanh Hoa. Since the beginning of 2023, the whole province has welcomed about 530,000 Korean visitors, accounting for more than 53.1% of the province's international visitors.
Currently, there are 13 flights from South Korea to Cam Ranh airport every day. Vietnamese and South Korean airlines have not only added more flights but also switched to using larger aircraft to increase passenger capacity.
Notably, among the Korean tourists to Nha Trang, there are a large number of actors, singers, and celebrities. They come to Nha Trang and share images and cuisine in the coastal city, contributing to spreading the image of coastal city tourism.
For example, in early February, a film crew from MBN Television (Korea) with actors such as artist Noh Hong Chul, comedian Lee Guk-joo, singer KCM... came to film a film promoting Nha Trang tourism. The Korean artists explored Vinwonders Nha Trang, experienced mud baths, went shopping at Xom Moi market and enjoyed seafood at a restaurant on the banks of Cai River.

At the end of May, actress Eugene (in the movie Penthouse - Cuoc chien thuong luu) took her family to Khanh Hoa for a vacation. She posted pictures of Nha Trang's beaches and cuisine on her Instagram page with the caption "Nha Trang, Vietnam So beautiful...!" Then hundreds of likes and comments from people admiring the beauty of Nha Trang as well as the desire to visit it one day.
Also during this time, the list of Korean stars coming to Nha Trang also included female singer Hyelin (member of the group EXID), singer Park Ji Hoon (member of the group Wanna One), actor couple Shin Seung Ho - Hong Kyung...
At the end of June 2023, the cast of Doctor Cha including Uhm Jung Hwa, Kim Byung Chul, Myung Se Bin... also went to Nha Trang to relax and celebrate the success of the work.

According to the Khanh Hoa provincial tourism sector, in recent times, the locality and businesses have always created favorable conditions and supported Korean film crews to film and host game shows in Khanh Hoa to contribute to promoting local tourism. With the influence of Korean celebrities, the number of Korean visitors to Khanh Hoa will increase in the coming time.
It is expected that in 2023, Khanh Hoa can welcome 900,000 Korean visitors.
