Appearing in the cast attending the press conference for the movie Black Medicine , Anh Vu quickly attracted special attention from the audience with his impressive bald head.

Originally, the actor "scored points" with his handsome, romantic appearance and long hair in a series of films such as: Come Home, My Dear, Say Love... Therefore, this "haircut" made Anh Vu look completely different, both fierce and cold in the public eye.

Sharing about the sudden change in appearance, Anh Vu said this was a requirement of the new role: "Previously, I often played humorous and good-natured roles, but the character Cuong in Black Medicine is dry and has sharp thinking, so I think I need to create a unique look for this character."

The actor said that any change can receive mixed opinions from the public, but he is confident that "cutting his hair" is necessary for his role:

"At this age, I don't care much about how others judge my appearance. I just think that this character needs a special color and I chose to change my hair. I want to show the character Cuong's unapproachable, scheming side, so I thought of a bald head."

Anh Vu surprised everyone when he "cut his hair", completely abandoning the romantic look he usually sees on the small screen.

The actor affirmed: "If the audience doesn't like my new image, it's okay. Because if the audience only likes me based on my appearance, then of course they will have their own "taste". As for those who are interested in acting and want to see my professional changes, they will stay with me.

It's not that I don't want to keep the audience, don't want to be loved by the audience. But when working, I have to give what is real and most suitable for the role."

In the new TV series, Anh Vu will play the role of Cuong - a rich young master with a deep and sinister personality. He is a member of the City Boy group with notorious partying. The sudden death of a member of the group has made the investigating police officers struggle to find answers, thereby uncovering a mysterious murder case from 20 years ago.

In addition to Anh Vu, the movie Black Medicine also has the participation of an impressive cast of male actors: Bao Anh, Huynh Anh, Duy Nam, Tuan Anh, Binh An.

Black Drug is an investigative crime film in the Criminal Police series. The film will air on VTV3 from September 4 at 9:40 p.m. every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
