The first conference to honor advanced models in the Science and Technology sector (2025 - 2030) is coming soon.

In August 2025, the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) plans to organize the first Conference to honor typical advanced models of the Science and Technology Sector (2025-2030). This is an important event to recognize and honor outstanding collectives and individuals in patriotic emulation movements, while at the same time arousing the spirit of innovation and creativity, creating new momentum for the development of the sector.

The conference aims to summarize the emulation movement and reward work in the period of 2020 - 2025, the direction and tasks of emulation and reward work in the period of 2025 - 2030; commend, honor and reward typical advanced collectives and individuals and launch the emulation movement in the period of 2025 - 2030.

Over the years, the Department of Science and Technology has regularly launched and effectively implemented emulation movements associated with the political tasks of the industry, closely following the annual theme of the city. The emulation movements have created synchronization, diffusion and practicality. Many typical advanced examples, models, new factors, good practices, examples of "good people - good deeds" have been honored and commended in the Central and local press and the Department's electronic information page, creating a strong diffusion in the unit and all classes of people.

In particular, the movement "Promoting initiatives and improving city technology" in the period of 2020 - 2025 has aroused the spirit of innovation and creativity among cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers. Many practical initiatives have been applied in practice, contributing to improving work efficiency, making important contributions to the development of science and technology and the innovation cause of the city.
