On the night of August 27, due to heavy rain, rivers and streams rose rapidly, causing more than 90 households in Thanh Binh Tho commune to be deeply flooded, with some areas being flooded over 4 meters deep. Authorities and commune officials worked all night to rescue and support people fleeing the flood.

According to information from the local government of Thanh Binh Tho commune, from August 26 to the night of August 27, the locality experienced prolonged heavy rain.
