I still remember clearly the moments when the whole family played and sang together. At these times, my father did not forget to press the record button on the cassette players to record those moments. Those could be clumsy music and singing but filled with love. Until now, I still keep the tapes filled with memories of the past." That is also why his new album is produced in CD format, a very rare thing at a time when everything is digital.

The 13 songs in the album are selected from nearly 200 compositions by Vu Minh Duc.

The CD has a nostalgic style with introductions before the songs are performed, reminiscent of the famous cassettes of the 1990s such as: Thu Ha sings Trinh Cong Son's music - Tu Tinh , Quoc Dung's music collection - Duong Xua ... The introductions were written by the author himself and performed by MC Mac Duy Thang.

The album includes the songs: Passing Through the Day I Love, Only the One, The Side Without You, A Day Passing By, Sometimes, The Smell of Homeland, Far-Floating Happiness ... performed by two singers, Huong Giang and Duy Hung.

As for Huong Giang, she is known as the "sad girl of the tea room" with her soul-crushing singing style, while male singer Duy Hung was once highly promoted by the owner of the ATB tea room - singer Anh Tuyet, however, he has only recently returned to music after a period of putting his passion aside. Both have expressed the "leisurely lonely" quality in Minh Duc's music with two completely different styles: if Duy Hung has a rough, thorny, masculine voice, on the contrary, Huong Giang is "sad" in a whining way.

The songs in the album are written in a lyrical style with a touch of old music. As a medical professional, the terrible days of the pandemic left him with complex emotions and unforgettable experiences. The album's soundtrack was composed by two "old" musicians in the music and arrangement industry, Quang Phuc and Vu Trong Hieu, along with musicians from the next generation such as Nguyen Huu, Quoc Nguyen, Bao Huy, and Kieu Anh Tuan. The most impressive point of the album is probably the title song, written in the pentatonic style of Vietnamese folk music. The lyrics are simple and beautiful, with a bit of fragility, expressing the initial feelings of a young man for the person he loves. Doctor - musician Vu Minh Duc graduated from Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy in 1995. In 2000, he received a scholarship in Paris (France) and was one of the first doctors in Ho Chi Minh City to study coronary angiography and angioplasty - a method to help save the lives of patients with myocardial infarction.
