Bamboo Capital Group Joint Stock Company (stock code BCG) has just announced that Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hung - Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors (BOD) - registered to sell 6.5 million BCG shares. The reason for the sale is at the request of the securities company. The expected transaction method is negotiation or order matching from March 12 to April 10. Based on the price of VND 4,140/share, the amount of BCG shares Mr. Hung wants to sell is worth about VND 27 billion. If the sale is successful, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hung will reduce his ownership to less than 900,000 shares, equivalent to 0.09% of capital.
In addition, Mr. Pham Huu Quoc, CFO and Chief Accountant of Bamboo Capital, also had 14,100 BCG shares sold on March 5. Mr. Quoc currently owns 95,900 shares.
Many Bamboo Capital leaders had their shares sold for mortgage.

Previously, Bao Viet Securities Company announced the sale of collateral securities for 15 million BCG shares of Mr. Nguyen Ho Nam - former Chairman of the Board of Directors of the company. The expected trading time is from March 3 to March 31. Similarly, another securities company, KIS, also announced the sale of 5 million BCG shares of Mr. Nguyen Ho Nam from March 3.
The massive sale of shares by Bamboo Capital leaders took place after the company announced that it had received notification from the competent authority of the decision to initiate a criminal case and the decision to prosecute Mr. Nguyen Ho Nam. At Bamboo Capital, Mr. Nguyen Ho Nam is the largest shareholder, owning nearly 92 million shares (10.42%). In addition, Mr. Nam's biological mother owns more than 100,000 shares (0.01%) and Mr. Nam's wife owns nearly 8.6 million shares (0.98%). The total ownership of Mr. Nguyen Ho Nam and related parties at BCG is nearly 158.5 million shares, equivalent to 18.01%.
BCG shares fell 28% this week with 3 floor sessions, down to 4,140 VND with an average matched trading volume of nearly 29 million shares. In particular, the session on March 6th had a record matched volume of nearly 95 million units.
