Ninh Binh province currently has nearly 5,000 inventoried relics, including 8 special national relics and 33 national intangible cultural heritages.

According to the Ninh Binh Provincial Department of Tourism , Ninh Binh province has an area of ​​nearly 4,000 km² and a population of about 4 million people. Ninh Binh has a rich, diverse and unique tourism resource system with famous spiritual tourist areas, Buddhist centers, and spiritual cultural centers such as Tam Chuc Pagoda, Bai Dinh Pagoda, Phu Giay, and Tran Temple.

In particular, Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex with its outstanding global values ​​in geology, geomorphology, aesthetics and culture has been recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural and Natural Heritage, which is also the only mixed heritage in Vietnam and Southeast Asia to date.

In addition, Ninh Binh has a diverse ecosystem from primeval forests, rivers, lakes, plains to seas. Many typical ecological regions and nature reserves of regional and global stature such as: Cuc Phuong National Park, Van Long Wetland Nature Reserve, Xuan Thuy National Park... have rich potential for ecological resorts, exploration and experience.
