According to Football Italia , the Saudi Arabian club offered Hernandez a salary of 18 million euros/season, nearly four times his current income. Al Hilal is also willing to pay 30-35 million euros in transfer fees to AC Milan.
The Rossoneri have also given the French defender the green light to find a new destination. Previously, Milan rejected Hernandez's request for a pay rise in an attempt to extend his contract. The current contract between the two sides expires in June 2026.
Italian media reported that Hernandez agreed to play in Saudi Arabia next season. In 2019, Milan recruited this defender for a fee of 22.8 million euros from Real Madrid.
