Ms. Ho Thi Linh (Ha Son village, Phuoc Tra commune) could not help but be moved by the gift for her child: a new bicycle. Being a single mother raising two young children, life is still difficult, this is a meaningful gift for her child before the new school year. "I am very touched and grateful, this is a meaningful gift to encourage my child to continue trying to study", Ms. Linh shared.
39 students who have made great efforts to overcome difficulties in their studies in Phuoc Tra and Hiep Duc communes have been given new bicycles by the volunteer group in the 2025 summer volunteer campaign. In addition, the group also presented 40 gifts to disadvantaged households in these two communes with a total value of more than 100 million VND.
The City Police Youth Union also reserved 3 scholarships to implement the model "Foster Children of the Union", awarded to 3 students who have made efforts to achieve good academic results.

The sentiment continues with understanding and sharing. Returning to Tra Linh, Tra Tap and Nam Tra My communes, the volunteer group donated 3 youth projects “Warm water in the highlands”, using T-Sona wood stoves to create hot water at 3 kindergartens and primary schools in these communes.
The model operates on the principle of utilizing excess heat from the cooking process for students, transmitted through the piping system to heat water. Thanks to that, hot water at these schools does not consume additional fuel, saving costs, suitable for economic conditions and living habits in the highlands.
Mr. Ho Van Nhiem, Vice Principal of Long Tuc Primary and Secondary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities (Tra Linh Commune) informed that Ngoc Le school in Tra Linh Commune is one of the farthest schools in the city. Traveling here is very difficult, and there is a lack of living and studying conditions for both teachers and students.
“This sponsored hot water system project is very helpful for teachers and students in terms of clean water, hot water for daily activities, healthy eating and drinking, especially in the cold season when the temperature drops very low in the highlands,” said Mr. Nhiem.

The final destination of the summer volunteer campaign was the Drug Rehabilitation Center No. 2 in Da Nang City. The delegation presented gifts to the staff, soldiers, workers and employees of the facility and gifts to encourage students with good drug rehabilitation results. The meeting, talking and giving gifts by the delegation gave students more confidence and determination in their journey to quit drugs and reintegrate into the community.
Major Pham Quang Man, Deputy Head of the Youth Department, Political Affairs Department, Da Nang City Police, said that after merging Quang Nam province and implementing a two-level government, the new Da Nang city's area is very large, including many remote and difficult areas.
“While actively participating in activities, we are also a bridge, reaching out to children in mountainous areas, the disadvantaged, those who need attention and sharing from sectors, organizations and the community. With a total budget of more than 170 million VND, the 2025 Summer Volunteer Campaign coordinated by the unit and the Ho Chi Minh City People's Voice Radio has spread the spirit of community service, demonstrating the responsibility of the city's young police officers,” said Major Pham Quang Man.
