Sesko puts an end to Hojlund?

The arrival of new signing Benjamin Sesko could see Rasmus Hojlund leave Old Trafford this summer.

According to MEN , Hojlund does not have much chance of staying at MU in the near future. The 22-year-old striker understands that if Sesko joins Old Trafford, he will no longer have a place in the squad.

After the friendly matches in the US last week, Hojlund said he intended to stay at United and fight for his place. However, coach Ruben Amorim did not confirm that he would keep the Danish international.

"My intention is very clear, which is to stay and fight for my place, no matter what happens," Hojlund shared.

Denmark are favourites to qualify for the 2026 World Cup, but Höjlund has lost his starting place due to poor form. He has scored just one goal in his last 15 appearances for the national team. This means Höjlund needs more playing time to improve his form, but coach Amorim cannot guarantee that.

Last weekend, BBC also reported that MU was willing to sell Hojlund for £30 million, much lower than the £72 million the team spent to bring him from Atalanta.

Last season, Hojlund only scored 10 goals for MU, including 4 goals in the Premier League. With the current situation, his future at Old Trafford is becoming more uncertain than ever.

Rashford shines after leaving MU Marcus Rashford contributed to Barcelona's 5-0 victory over Daegu on the evening of August 4.
