On the morning of August 7, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the An Giang Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Phong and the Provincial Party Committee's working delegation had a working session with the Party Committees of 5 communes: An Minh, Dong Hung, Dong Hoa, Tan Thanh and Van Khanh on document appraisal and preparations for organizing the commune Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term.

At the working session, the Party Committees of 5 communes reported on draft political documents to be submitted to the congress, including an assessment of the implementation results of the resolution for the 2020-2025 term; viewpoints, goals, tasks and key solutions for the 2025-2030 term. The drafts all closely follow the local socio-economic development orientation, focusing on key tasks such as building new rural communes, developing production associated with digital transformation, improving people's lives and consolidating the grassroots political system.

Up to now, the Party Committees of the five communes of An Minh, Dong Hung, Dong Hoa, Tan Thanh and Van Khanh have established steering committees and sub-committees to serve the congress, assigned specific tasks, and basically completed the draft political report, documents and materials to serve the congress.
