According to data from Volume 2, Industrial Property Gazette No. 448, Volume A, recently published by the National Office of Intellectual Property of Vietnam, the Indian car company TVS Motor has registered an industrial design copyright for a new motorcycle model in the Vietnamese market. This model may be called Orbiter, continuing the success of the iQube line in the popular electric vehicle segment in India.

This is a notable move, as the car has yet to be introduced in the domestic Indian market. Currently, the image of the car is only limited to digital drawings in the copyright registration file.

The new model is expected to cost less than 90,000 rupees (equivalent to less than 27 million VND), lower than the starting price of about 100,000 rupees (about 30 million VND) of TVS iQube - the electric vehicle version currently sold in India.

This new electric motorbike model is expected to be called TVS Orbiter. The vehicle has a rather square shape, with a simple but practical design, aimed at ordinary users. TVS Orbiter has headlights placed on the handlebar cluster, combined with a small sun visor, while the LED daytime running lights stretch across both the front and rear of the vehicle, which can also function as turn signals.

There are no official specifications yet, but the design image shows that the front wheel is larger than the rear wheel (predicted 14-inch front wheel). This design helps the car keep the seat low, the trunk is large and suitable for users who move a lot in urban areas.

The saddle is flat and long; the footrest is wide; the trunk is also large enough to hold two half-head helmets and many personal items... all to optimize comfort and functionality for daily use.

The vehicle has no exhaust pipe, while the rear axle motor is exposed, showing that this is an electric motorbike model. The engine is placed in the middle, transmitting power to the rear wheel via a belt. The dual rear shock absorber system is also a practical equipment for Vietnamese street conditions.

Indian media predicts that the car will be equipped with a 2.2kWh battery pack, providing a range of about 90 - 95 km per charge. However, these parameters have not been officially confirmed by TVS.

TVS is currently present in the Vietnamese market with gasoline models in the popular segment, priced from 25 - 36 million VND. The low price advantage is the company's main competitive factor.
