On the evening of August 16, Siemens marked the 30th anniversary of its official presence in Vietnam with a solemn gratitude party held in Ho Chi Minh City.

Attending the program were Mr. Nguyen Van Dung, Vice Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Council; Ms. Josefine Wallat, Consul General of Germany in Ho Chi Minh City; Mr. Matthias Rebellius, member of the Executive Board of Siemens AG and Global CEO of Smart Infrastructure.

This is a special occasion for Siemens Vietnam to honor the achievements it has made here so far; at the same time, it is an opportunity for the company to reaffirm its commitment to supporting Vietnam in developing smart infrastructure, promoting digital transformation and sustainable development.

Vice Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Council Nguyen Van Dung spoke at the event.

Siemens representative also affirmed that entering a new decade in Vietnam, the company is committed to promoting Vietnam's progress for a green future.

He also thanked partners, customers, suppliers and the company's staff, and affirmed that Siemens is committed to continuing to strengthen its presence in Vietnam and making further efforts to support Vietnam on its journey of digital transformation and sustainable development.

Sustainability is an important part of Siemens' strategy and permeates everything the company does. It is about innovative solutions that make power generation, buildings, and factories more energy efficient and sustainable.

Siemens' technology solutions for combined cycle power plants have helped Vietnam reduce nearly 5 million tons of CO2 emissions, while building technology solutions have helped customers save 20% to 30% of energy consumption.
