Real According to the plan of the Department of Agriculture and Environment to inspect the production and sale of livestock breeds, animal feed, and veterinary drugs in the province, from November 20th to December 5th, 2025 , the inspection team of the Provincial Department of Agriculture and Environment has conducted inspections. Compliance with legal regulations was checked at 21 establishments producing and trading livestock breeds, animal feed, and veterinary drugs. Samples of animal feed and veterinary drugs were taken for testing and evaluation to ensure that the product content met the declared levels on the packaging .
In An Sinh ward, the Department's inspection team checked the legal procedures and took samples for quality testing of animal feed at the AFC animal feed distributor in Tan Thanh area. This is one of 12 animal feed trading and distribution establishments inspected during this period.
Mr. Vu Xuan Suc, owner of the AFC animal feed dealership in Tan Thanh area, An Sinh ward, said: During the inspection, all the legal documents and procedures of the unit were complete. The only issue was that the products displayed for sale at the dealership were still placed directly on the ground instead of on shelves. The inspection team clearly pointed this out and reminded the unit about this. Regarding this issue, the unit immediately rectified it according to the instructions to ensure product quality.
During an inspection at the Quynh Lan Veterinary Drug Distribution Center (located in Chi Lang area, An Sinh ward) , the inspection team from the Provincial Department of Agriculture and Environment also took samples to test the quality of various veterinary drugs being sold there. According to the inspection, the Quynh Lan Veterinary Drug Distribution Center currently stocks nearly 200 different veterinary drug products from 10 veterinary drug companies in Vietnam.
Through inspections of the business and trade of agricultural supplies in the livestock sector and veterinary drugs, the aim is to strengthen state management in the production, business, and trade of veterinary drugs, animal feed, agricultural supplies, and chemicals. At the same time, the Quang Ninh Livestock and Veterinary Sub-Department is also reviewing, researching, and contributing to the improvement of mechanisms, policies, and legal documents suitable for the current two-tiered administrative system.
Mr. Pham Van Kien, Deputy Head of the Department of Livestock and Veterinary Medicine of Quang Ninh province, added: Through inspection and post-inspection activities, the Department of Agriculture and Environment continues to promote information and communication to raise awareness among organizations, individuals involved in production and business, and livestock farmers related to livestock farming and the trading of veterinary supplies and drugs in Quang Ninh province. At the same time, after receiving the results of samples of animal feed and veterinary drugs, the Department will widely publicize them through mass media to protect the rights of buyers, and strictly handle establishments trading in veterinary drugs and animal feed with samples found to be in violation. This is an annual activity carried out by the Department to strengthen state management in the production, trading, and sale of veterinary drugs, animal feed, agricultural supplies, and chemicals throughout the province.
