At polling station number 16 in An Hai ward, Le Cat Linh Giang, a first-year student at Duy Tan University, arrived early in the morning with her parents to cast her vote. This was Linh Giang's first time holding a voter card and exercising her civic right, so she couldn't help but feel excited and emotional.
Giang shared that before election day, she spent time researching information about the candidates and the significance of voting. For Giang, the moment of carefully folding the ballot and placing it in the ballot box was a special experience, marking a milestone in her journey to becoming a responsible citizen.
"By voting, I feel it's not just a right, but also a responsibility for each individual towards the future of the country. I am very proud to be able to cast my vote for the first time on this great national event," Linh Giang expressed.
Also participating in an election for the first time, Tran Minh Gia Han, a third-year student at the University of Education (Da Nang University), had spent many days beforehand researching the candidates in her polling area. At Polling Station No. 29, Hai Chau Ward, Minh Han was instructed on how to vote.

Hân shared: “I felt nervous and excited to exercise my civic duty for the first time. The moment left me with many emotions, especially when I cast my ballot. I felt that my vote, though small, was a part of my responsibility as a citizen to the country. That made me very emotional and proud to contribute the voice of youth to this common development.”
The University of Technology (Da Nang University) is one of the universities with a large number of students, graduate students, and doctoral candidates studying and researching. Most students and doctoral candidates participate in elections in their local area or place of residence in accordance with regulations. For students residing in dormitories, the university, in coordination with the People's Committee of Lien Chieu Ward, provides support in exercising their right to vote.
Joining in the enthusiastic atmosphere, voter Nguyen Thi Thu, a student from the Electrical Engineering Faculty of the Polytechnic University, shared that before the election day, the school had posted the voter list and candidate list in easily visible areas, and also intensified propaganda efforts to help students understand the meaning and their responsibilities regarding their right to vote. The school also provided specific information about polling locations, so Thu and her friends arrived at the correct polling station early in the morning.
"When we arrived here, the members of the polling station guided us very attentively, so we felt quite reassured and confident participating in exercising our civic rights for the first time," Thu shared.
To ensure the smooth running of the election and to enable students to fully exercise their rights and civic duties, universities in the city have proactively implemented thorough preparatory activities. From promoting awareness of the significance of election day, posting voter and candidate lists, to providing specific guidance on polling locations for students… everything has been carried out seriously and systematically.
