Long An Department of Industry and Trade supports businesses to participate in many trade promotion fairs

With the desire to help businesses strengthen cooperation and promote their brands, Long An Department of Industry and Trade has supported businesses to participate in trade promotion fairs.

On November 15, a representative of the Department of Industry and Trade of Long An province informed that recently the unit has supported many businesses to participate in trade promotion fairs such as: Trade Promotion Fair, Rural Industrial Products and OCOP associated with Ok Om Bok Festival of Tra Vinh province in 2024; Border Trade Promotion Exhibition Fair - Dong Thap 2024.

At the Trade Promotion Fair, Rural Industrial Products and OCOP associated with the Ok Om Bok Festival of Tra Vinh province in 2024, the Department of Industry and Trade of Long An provided free support for 2 businesses to participate in 2 booths, with 4-star OCOP and 3-star OCOP products.

Among them, Kim Ngoc Food Company Limited brings to the fair products of Chinese sausage, spring rolls, vegetarian and non-vegetarian pork rolls; Green West Company Limited brings environmentally friendly products such as straws, bags made from sedge...

According to the representative of the Department of Industry and Trade, through the trade promotion fair, it will help support businesses to strengthen cooperation, link to promote trade and investment, and create opportunities for businesses to meet and promote product brands. Thereby, contributing to promoting cooperation, developing and expanding domestic and export markets.

Regarding the Trade Promotion Fair, Rural Industrial Products and OCOP associated with the Ok Om Bok Festival of Tra Vinh province in 2024 taking place from November 9 to 15, with a scale of 300 booths and 165 units inside and outside the province participating; of which, 9 trade promotion and industrial promotion centers of provinces and cities nationwide registered 20 booths.

At the 2024 Border Trade Promotion Exhibition Fair - Dong Thap, the Department of Industry and Trade of Long An province supported businesses to participate with 2 booths, including: Thien Moc Medicinal Herbs Company Limited and Kim Hue sausage - grilled spring rolls.

Accordingly, the 2024 Border Trade Promotion Exhibition Fair - Dong Thap will take place from November 13 to November 17 at Vo Nguyen Giap Square, An Thanh Ward, Hong Ngu City, with over 150 booths of organizations, production and business enterprises, cooperatives, craft villages, production establishments inside and outside the province...

Long An Department of Industry and Trade completed 8/8 tasks assigned by the Provincial People's Committee.

Mr. Huynh Van Quang Hung, Director of the Department of Industry and Trade, said that up to now, the Department has completed 8/8 tasks assigned by the People's Committee of Long An province.

Specifically, the tasks include: Directive on the Lunar New Year of Giap Thin in 2024; Plan for e-commerce development in 2024; Plan to promote domestic production and consumption and boost exports in 2024; Trade Promotion Plan in 2024; Develop a plan to operate electricity supply in the province in 2024; Approve the list of important customers in 2024; Plan to implement investment in the Long An I&II Thermal Power Plant project in Can Giuoc district and electricity projects; Plan to manage and develop industrial clusters until 2030; Conference on connecting the import and export supply chain of Long An province in 2024.

In particular, the 8th task is the Conference on connecting the import and export supply chain of Long An province in 2024, which was successfully organized by the Department of Industry and Trade of Long An yesterday (November 14).
