Bac Lieu Department of Transport has suspended driver's license testing and renewal.

From February 19th, the Bac Lieu Provincial Department of Transport has stopped conducting examinations for the renewal and re-issuance of driver's licenses.

On February 19th, according to information from the Bac Lieu Provincial Department of Transport, the unit announced the suspension of driving license examinations and the processing of applications for license renewals and replacements. This suspension will take effect from February 19th, 2025.

The Bac Lieu Provincial Department of Transport has stopped conducting examinations for the renewal and re-issuance of driver's licenses starting today (February 19, 2025).

This announcement was sent to driving schools, driving test centers, and residents throughout the province.

The reason for the suspension is to facilitate the handover of driver's license examination and issuance responsibilities to the Bac Lieu Provincial Police Department as per regulations.

Previously, the Bac Lieu Provincial Department of Transport had announced a list of qualified driving schools in the province for students to register for courses.

Specifically, Bac Lieu Vocational College (No. 68, Ton Duc Thang Street, Hamlet 7, Ward 1, Bac Lieu City, Bac Lieu Province) provides training for A1, A2, B1, B2, C, D, and E licenses; and Vocational College No. 9 (Cao Van Lau Street, Nha Mat Hamlet, Nha Mat Ward, Bac Lieu City) provides training for B1, B2, and C licenses.

The Bac Lieu Private Vocational Training Center (Ton Duc Thang Street, Hamlet 10, Ward 1, Bac Lieu City) provides A1 level training; the Hong Dan District Vocational Education and Continuing Education Center (Noi O Hamlet, Ngan Dua Town, Hong Dan District, Bac Lieu Province) also provides A1 level training.
