Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and Buon Ma Thuot City lead the Digital Transformation Index of state agencies in the province

The Provincial People's Committee has just issued a Decision to announce and rank the Digital Transformation Index of state agencies (DTI) in Dak Lak province in 2022.

Accordingly, the DTI at the department level is assessed based on 2 groups (common foundation index; operational index group); with 6 main indexes (including: Digital awareness; Digital institutions; Digital infrastructure; Digital human resources; Cyber security; Digital government activities), 41 component indexes, calculated on a scale of 1,000.

District-level DTI is assessed based on 2 groups (common foundation index; performance index group), with 8 main indexes (Digital awareness; Digital institutions; Digital infrastructure; Digital human resources; Cyber security; Digital government activities; Digital economic activities; Digital social activities), 65 component indexes, calculated on a scale of 1,000.

Through the ranking assessment, in terms of DTI at the department level, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development is in the lead with 0.81979 points; followed by the Department of Justice in second place with 0.81735 points; the Department of Industry and Trade in third place with 0.79511 points. At the bottom of the list are the following departments and branches: Department of Natural Resources and Environment (0.67884 points); Provincial Inspectorate (0.67374 points); Department of Transport (0.64125 points).

Regarding DTI at the district level, the People's Committee of Buon Ma Thuot City ranked first with 0.82369 points; the People's Committee of Ea H'leo District ranked second with 0.79303 points; the People's Committee of Krong Pac District ranked third with 0.73937 points. At the bottom of the table were the People's Committees of the following districts: Krong Bong (0.52774 points), Cu M'gar (0.52293 points), Ea Sup (0.52187 points).

The DTI ranking is a scientific basis for developing strategies, plans, and policies for development and digital transformation of the province; thereby creating conditions for departments, branches, sectors and People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to monitor the index and component criteria on digital transformation of agencies and units; at the same time, develop programs and plans to improve the quality and effectiveness of digital transformation in accordance with the general requirements of the province.
