Department of Home Affairs won first prize at the 2025 Cultural and Sports Festival for Workers

On the evening of May 27, the Provincial People's Committee Trade Union organized an art program with the theme "Songs for Uncle Ho" on the occasion of the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025) and the closing ceremony of the 2025 Workers' Cultural and Sports Festival.

The art program includes 8 special performances, with soulful melodies and profound lyrics, carefully staged by the grassroots Trade Unions, full of emotions, expressing sacred feelings, respect and admiration for the beloved father of the nation. At the same time, creating a joyful, excited and united atmosphere among all cadres, civil servants and workers.

At the program, the Provincial People's Committee's Trade Union presented 24 gifts to union members with serious illnesses, each gift worth 3 million VND. The total amount of money presented during the Festival was 222 million VND.

After a day of exciting competition with the spirit of solidarity, honesty and friendship, the Festival was a great success. Union members from affiliated units brought exciting competitions in 4 categories: tug of war, chess, slow cycling and sack jumping.

At the end of the Festival, the Organizing Committee awarded prizes to the units with outstanding achievements. The first prize went to the Department of Home Affairs Trade Union. Two second prizes were awarded to the Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital Trade Union and the Department of Science and Technology. Five third prizes went to the Trade Unions of the following units: Tuberculosis and Lung Disease Hospital, Social Work Center, Provincial Social Insurance, Project Management Board for Investment and Construction of Traffic Works and the Department of Finance.
