(HBĐT) - On the morning of November 5, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment (DONRE) held a ceremony to celebrate its 20th anniversary (November 5, 2003 - November 5, 2023). On November 5, 2003, the Provincial People's Committee issued a decision to establish the Department of Natural Resources and Environment. After 20 years of construction and development, the Department has gradually grown and matured in all aspects, successfully completed assigned political tasks, and made important contributions to the successful implementation of the province's socio-economic development goals. The Department has promptly advised the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee to issue 60 important directives and decisions on Natural Resources and Environment, creating a legal corridor for natural resource management and environmental protection in the province. Advised on planning and land use plans for the province in each period, including plans for land allocation and zoning at the provincial level to complete the Hoa Binh Provincial Planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050...
In the period 2003 - 2023, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment has received, processed, submitted to the Provincial People's Committee to recover, allocate land, lease land, and change land use purposes of over 20,520 hectares; collected land use fees for the provincial budget of over 6,458 billion VND. Up to now, cadastral maps have been measured and established in 9/10 districts and cities. The whole province has issued over 2 million land use right certificates that need to be issued...
Speaking at the ceremony, Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Dang Quoc Khanh assessed that the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Hoa Binh province has inherited the achievements of generations, overcome difficulties and challenges, continuously grown and developed, affirming its role as an important professional agency, helping the Provincial People's Committee to unify the comprehensive management of natural resources, protect the environment and respond to climate change. In the coming time, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of the province is requested to focus on synchronously and effectively implementing tasks, goals and targets in the field with 5 key tasks and solutions. Proactively advise the Provincial People's Committee to organize the establishment, approval and adjustment of land use planning and plans; solve environmental issues in production activities in industrial parks, clusters and craft villages; promote digital transformation and administrative procedure reform.
