Department of Natural Resources and Environment organizes civil servant conference in 2024

On the morning of February 12, 2025, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment held a civil servant conference to evaluate the work results in 2024 and set out directions and tasks for 2025 and launch the emulation movement to successfully implement the political goals and tasks of 2025.

The conference heard a report on activities.   union in 2024, setting out the key tasks and directions for 2025. Accordingly, the member union of the Office Block of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment is a block of state management departments under the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, including 06 state management departments: Office, Inspection, Land Management, Environmental Management, General Planning, Water Resources and Minerals; is a member union operating under the direct direction of the Trade Union of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Cao Bang province. The grassroots union regularly coordinates with the Party cell and the Government to regularly carry out propaganda work on documents, Directives, Resolutions, and circulars of the Government 's ministries and branches related to the field of natural resources and environment, the Party's policies, and the State's laws to all employees in agency meetings. The Union Executive Committee has coordinated with the Board of Directors of the unit to develop, amend and supplement the operating regulations to be more and more suitable to ensure that all policies directly related to union members and employees in the unit are implemented in accordance with regulations . The work of inspecting and supervising the implementation of the Trade Union Law, Labor Code, Social Insurance, Health Insurance and resolving regimes and policies related to employees is ensured to be in accordance with regulations.

Caring for the material and spiritual life of union members at the agency in many forms such as: Organizing visits and timely encouragement for union members and their sick or pregnant relatives; union members' families with funerals with an amount of 12,800,000 VND; Organizing activities to encourage female union members on the occasion of March 8: Visiting and traveling to Tay Yen Tu Tourist Area, Bac Giang province (union budget of 10,600,000 VND); Organizing exchanges to celebrate October 20 with a total amount of 3,600,000 VND; Coordinating with the Learning Promotion Association to organize commendation and rewards for students with high achievements in studying and training in the 2023-2024 school year with a total amount of 4,300,000 VND; In coordination with the Veterans Association, the Youth Union participated in organizing visits and giving gifts to 03 families of officers, civil servants and employees in the agency who are war invalids and martyrs on the occasion of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2023) with an amount of 3,600,000 VND.

Propose and coordinate with the government to pay attention to and improve the working environment for union members, regularly organize cleaning activities, take care of flower gardens and other activities to build a cultural working environment in the office. During the Lunar New Year, the Executive Committee of the Union of Union Members coordinates with the government to visit and encourage the family and union members to create a happy and warm atmosphere, especially for families with difficult circumstances and special circumstances. Send 02 union members to participate in the blood donation festival according to the Voluntary Blood Donation program launched by the Provincial Union of Civil Servants.

At the Conference, delegates actively discussed, frankly contributed opinions, pointed out limitations and causes of limitations; proposed solutions to improve the quality and efficiency of activities and working regulations of the agency, contributing to the successful implementation of the tasks in 2025...  

In 2025, the grassroots trade union of the Office Block of the Department strives for 100% of civil servants and employees to sign a commitment to effectively participate in the emulation movement; 95% or more of party members who are civil servants and employees of the agency meet the party member standards and complete their tasks well; Strive for 90% or more of civil servants and employees to achieve the title of Advanced Laborer; 10% or more to achieve the title of Emulation Fighter at all levels; 15% or more of civil servants and employees of the Office Block of the Department have initiatives and useful solutions in performing their tasks. Strive for 100% of families of civil servants and employees to achieve the title of cultural family;

Strive for the trade union organization to achieve the title of excellent grassroots trade union member; 90% or more of the trade union members to achieve the title of excellent trade union members; 100% of female trade union members to achieve the title of "Good at public work, good at housework"; Strive for 100% of civil servants and employees to seriously implement: Not violating road traffic safety, not smoking in the agency, public places; not drinking alcohol, beer during working hours and lunch break of the working day; not engaging in social evils; strictly complying with the rules and regulations of the agency and place of residence; 100% of civil servants and employees to have civilized and polite behavior, communication, and performance of official duties in the agency; fully participate in contributing to humanitarian and charitable funds. Introduce 01 or more outstanding union member to the Party and propose the Party Cell to consider and admit 01 or more outstanding union member.

Speaking at the Conference, Mr. Chu Duc Quang, Party Secretary and Director of the Department, praised the Executive Board of the Grassroots Trade Union for closely coordinating with the Board of Directors of the Department to fulfill the political tasks of the agency and achieve the set targets. Especially the efforts of each union member and employee. To contribute to the successful completion of the tasks in 2025, the Department's Board of Directors continues to create the best conditions for the Executive Board of the Trade Union to operate. At the same time, he called on all civil servants and employees of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to promote the spirit of solidarity and creativity, continue to promote the emulation movement associated with the political tasks of the industry to create strong changes, determined to successfully complete the targets set by the Conference Resolution.

After an urgent and serious working session, the Conference of Civil Servants and Trade Union members of the Office Block of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment was a great success.
