In the first 6 months of the year, the Department of Information and Communications of Dak Lak has done a good job of advising the Provincial People's Committee on the management of the information and communication sector in the province. The postal sector has developed stably, the number of domestic and joint venture enterprise branches operating in the province is 13 branches (unchanged compared to the same period in 2023). Estimated revenue is 226 billion VND (up 11.5% over the same period in 2023). Regarding telecommunications and Internet, the total number of telephone subscribers is estimated at 2,080,943 subscribers. The total number of mobile broadband Internet subscribers is 2,000,000 subscribers. The total revenue generated by telecommunications enterprises in the province is about 974,011 million VND (up 77% over the same period in 2023). Paying the state budget about 62,707 million VND (up 85% over the same period in 2023).

In the field of digital transformation, Up to now, 100% of state agencies at all levels in the province have sent and received electronic documents, the rate of digitally signed electronic documents has reached over 96%. The application of digital certificates and digital signatures has been deployed to 100% of state agencies in the province, from the provincial to the communal level. Digital signature services on document management and administration software have been thoroughly applied by agencies and units in the province, and documents are completely circulated on the document management and administration software system. Up to now, the whole province has been granted 8,245 digital certificates to individuals and organizations. Currently, the initialing work is being implemented according to the request of the Government Cipher Committee.
Up to now, the Dak Lak Provincial Administrative Procedures Information System has provided: 1,683 administrative procedures. (Of which, full-process online public services are 676, partial online public services are 753, and online information-providing public services are 254). The Provincial Administrative Procedures Information System has received: 262,420 directly received records, 114,187 online records (of which, 45,252 partially received online records, 68,935 full-process online records). The province's digital economy has initially contributed to the province's economic development. Every year, the Department of Information and Communications advises the Provincial People's Committee to develop and issue plans to support bringing agricultural production households to e-commerce platforms. Currently, Dak Lak province has 1,715 products on e-commerce platforms; There were 42,933 transactions on the e-commerce floor, ranking 5th nationwide.
Regarding information, press and publishing: In general, local and central press agencies in the province have closely followed the activities of social life, properly implemented the leadership, direction and information orientation of the Party and State to focus on information and propaganda work. The press has contributed to promoting the socio-economic development of the province, and at the same time is a sharp and effective weapon in propagating the Party and State's guidelines and policies, fighting to defeat the "peaceful evolution" and riotous overthrow plots of hostile forces, maintaining national defense and security in the area. The Department has coordinated with the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department and the Provincial Journalists Association to organize periodic press conferences to assess the press's activities in the month and orient propaganda work in the coming month; Coordinate with the Provincial People's Committee Office to advise on organizing press conferences to inform press agencies about the socio-economic development situation, ensuring national defense and security in the province.
Regarding the implementation of tasks for the last 6 months of 2024, it is necessary to focus on the following contents: Consulting on organizing the Quiz Contest to learn about Digital Transformation in Dak Lak province in 2024; implementing activities to celebrate the 79th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Information and Communications Sector of Vietnam (August 28) in 2024; implementing the tasks of Digital Transformation in Dak Lak province in 2024, implementing activities in response to the province's Digital Transformation Day in 2024; Participating in organizing activities to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Department of Information and Communications (December 28, 2004 - December 28, 2024); Continuing to advise on implementing contents related to the smart broadcasting system in communes in the province; focusing on connecting source information systems; Strengthening state management in the postal and telecommunications sector in ensuring security and safety in the postal, delivery and telecommunications sectors; Directing press agencies to strengthen propaganda work on the Party and State's policies and guidelines, political and social events of the province and the country; especially focusing on propagating the 120th anniversary of the founding of Dak Lak province (November 22, 1904 - November 22, 2024); preparing communication work for the 9th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival in 2025.../.
