Exciting Phan Thiet Open Cycling Race 2024

BTO-On the morning of April 14, at Vo Van Kiet Park, the Phan Thiet City Open Cycling Race 2024 opened, organized by the People's Committee of Phan Thiet City. The tournament aims to celebrate the 49th anniversary of the Liberation of Phan Thiet - Binh Thuan (April 19, 1975 - April 19, 2024), the 49th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2024).

  The event was attended by more than 100 athletes (male and female) who are members of the Binh Thuan Sports Cycling Federation, Cycling Club, people who love cycling in the city; Cycling Clubs of departments, branches, companies, and enterprises in the province .

The competition must be of road racing type, time trial racing vehicles are not allowed, and time trial racing handlebars/rests mounted on the racing vehicle are not allowed.

Athlete Nguyen Thi Bich Hanh won the women's category with a 25km route.

In the women's category, starting on Vo Van Kiet Street with a 25km route (5 closed laps) - finishing in front of Vo Van Kiet Park. This is also the category that helped athlete Nguyen Thi Bich Hanh (Khang Thinh Club) come first with a time of 37'46.86.

The 50km men 's category includes two age groups: 18-40 and 41-60 years old. The first place in the 18-40 age group belongs to Nguyen Van The (Ham Thuan Bac Cycling Club), second place belongs to Dang Thanh Huy (Ham Thuan Nam Cycling Club), third place belongs to Le Tran Nguyen Tuyen (Khang Thinh Cycling Club). Accordingly, the first place in the team category belongs to Khang Thinh Cycling Club, second place belongs to Phong Nam commune, third place belongs to Ham Thuan Nam Cycling Club.

In the age group of 41-60, the first place belongs to the familiar name Dang Van Quang (Phan Thiet Cycling Club), the second place belongs to athlete Dang Cao Tri (Phan Thiet Cycling Club), the third place belongs to Nguyen Xuan Phuoc (Phan Thiet Green Journey). Along with that, the first place in the team category belongs to Phan Thiet Cycling Club, the second place belongs to Khang Thinh Cycling Club, the third place belongs to Bao Thinh Cycling Club.
