After the 2025 Lunar New Year holiday, most businesses in the province resumed operations on the 6th day of the Lunar New Year (February 3, 2025). Increased orders, a bustling working atmosphere, and enthusiastic working spirit right after the long Tet holiday are positive signs in the general picture of industrial production activities in the first days of the new year.
On the very first working day after the Lunar New Year holiday of At Ty 2025 (the 6th day of Tet), 99% of the workers of Tan A Ha Nam International Joint Stock Company (Thanh Liem Industrial Park) returned to work on schedule, creating an urgent and bustling working atmosphere in the production departments in the factory.
Mr. Pham Van Hieu - a worker of the company excitedly said: I am from Nam Dinh , up to now I have worked for Tan A Ha Nam for 4 years. Every year I am present at the company on the first working day of the new year with the hope that the work throughout the year will be favorable, smooth and reap more success. Last year, although the company still had to face many difficulties in the general context of the economy, the jobs and income of workers were still maintained. The salary, bonus and treatment regimes were always guaranteed, so we are very secure in our work, determined to contribute and stick with the company for a long time. I hope that in this new year, the company will increase many large-scale orders so that workers can stabilize their jobs, improve their income and life.
A good sign in the first days of the new year is that Tan A Ha Nam has signed many new orders, ensuring regular employment for workers until the end of 2025 with an expected consumption of about 700,000 products to the market. Mr. Hoang Anh Tai, Director of Tan A Ha Nam International Joint Stock Company said: We set a target that revenue growth in 2025 will be 20% higher than in 2024. In the immediate future, to ensure the plan for the first orders of the year, the company is focusing on maximum human resources and time, promoting the emulation movement in production labor, promoting technical innovation initiatives, creating a vibrant atmosphere throughout the company.
The bustling production atmosphere in the first days of the new spring is also easily seen in many factories in industrial parks in the province. Returning to work after the Lunar New Year holiday, to encourage the working spirit of workers, many businesses have organized spring opening, meetings and lucky money to wish all workers a happy new year. Mr. Nguyen Thanh Son, a worker at Hoa Sen Plastic Joint Stock Company, Ha Nam Plastic Factory Branch (Thanh Liem Industrial Park) said: Currently, my salary and bonus at the company have basically met the living needs of my family. On this occasion of Tet, we received full salary, bonus, and Tet gifts, so we are very excited. We were present at the company according to the working schedule on the 6th day of Tet and everyone was enthusiastic about working, trying to achieve the highest productivity, partly because we did not want to lose working days, partly because we were grateful to the company for always caring for and taking good care of workers, especially during holidays and Tet. In addition, the company also creates good opportunities for us to develop our capacity, innovate and be creative in our work, thereby receiving regular salary increases and bonuses. In the new year of At Ty 2025, I hope the factory will develop further, increase production so that workers will have more jobs and maintain regular overtime.
According to the Provincial Industrial Park Management Board, on February 3, 2025 (the 6th day of the Lunar New Year), most enterprises in the province returned to normal production activities. The number of workers returning to work reached about 89%. At this time, many enterprises have orders to maintain stable production in the first 6 months of 2025. Some large-scale enterprises have orders until the end of 2025. During the recovery period, promoting production development with increasingly fierce competition for human resources, right from the first days of the new year, along with launching a labor emulation movement for production among workers and employees, enterprises have also actively improved the working environment, cared for the material and spiritual life of workers, built a healthy corporate culture, harmonious and progressive labor relations to attract and "retain" workers for a long time.
Ms. Vu Thi Minh Phuong, Deputy Head of the Provincial Industrial Park Management Board, said: During the 2025 Lunar New Year holiday, some businesses with specific activities such as providing electricity, water, telecommunications services and businesses with urgent orders still maintain some workshops and departments working during the Tet holidays. Up to this point, labor safety in production at businesses has been maintained stably. The Board has guided businesses to organize overtime during the Tet holiday in accordance with the provisions of law, ensuring the consent of employees. In addition to the overtime salary regime on holidays and Tet according to regulations, employees working during Tet are also given additional bonuses by businesses to encourage and motivate their working spirit. Currently, the board is continuing to monitor and regularly grasp the security and order situation of enterprises in the industrial park after Tet to promptly handle arising situations, ensuring stable and safe business operations.
With a positive and urgent working atmosphere right from the first days of the new year, industrial enterprises in the province expect to successfully implement the production and business goals and plans set out in 2025 with a double-digit growth rate compared to 2024. Thereby, contributing to bringing the province's industrial production value in 2025 to over VND 280,700 billion, an increase of 13.1% compared to 2024.
