Solskjaer is ready to manage MU.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is reportedly signaling his willingness to return to Old Trafford as interim manager.

Solskjaer is interested in the job at his old club.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano said: "Solskjaer has expressed interest in taking on the interim manager position at Manchester United, regardless of the contract duration. Manchester United are taking time to evaluate the candidates for the role. Darren Fletcher will take on the interim role this week."

Solskjaer has been a free agent since being sacked by Besiktas last August. If he receives an offer from Manchester United, this would be his first return to Old Trafford since leaving the manager's position in November 2021.

At that time, the Old Trafford legend had to leave amidst the team's decline, sitting 7th in the Premier League, 12 points behind league leaders Chelsea and having won only 1 of their last 7 matches.
