Along with that is a unique intangible cultural treasure such as Thai xoe art (recognized by UNESCO as a representative intangible cultural heritage of humanity), folk songs, folk dances, traditional rituals, traditional crafts such as brocade weaving, knitting, forging agricultural tools, making do paper... “Colors of Son La” - Bringing the Northwest closer to the Central region
To create a boost for tourism development, Son La will organize the event "Colors of Son La" from June 19 - 23, 2025 at Bien Dong Park, Vo Nguyen Giap Street, Phuoc My Ward, Son Tra District, Da Nang City.
Northwest Square is located in Son La City.
“Son La Colors” will be a space that fully converges the quintessence of culture, tourism, cuisine and products of Son La. The program includes outstanding activities such as: the art program “Son La Colors”; organizing survey delegations to connect Son La - Da Nang tourism; Son La - Da Nang tourism promotion conference. At the conference, there will be notable activities such as: exhibition space, promotion of products, tourism publications, OCOP products of Son La; introduction of tourism resources, tourism products, land and people of Son La and Da Nang; businesses of the two provinces and cities introducing tourism products, stimulus packages, solutions for tourism development linkage; discussion of solutions, linkages for tourism development between Son La and Da Nang. In addition, the exhibition of beautiful photos of tourism resources, land and people of Son La and the display of booths introducing culture - tourism and OCOP products of Son La, including a space to introduce and perform ethnic culture (xoe dance, bamboo dance, throwing con and introducing unique cultural features of Son La province...) are also activities that will attract visitors to visit and experience.
Through the event, Son La province not only hopes to spread the image of the beautiful and hospitable Northwest region to the people of Da Nang in particular and the Central region in general, especially the brand "World's leading regional natural destination" for Moc Chau National Tourist Area, Son La Hydroelectric Reservoir Area, Ta Xua Tourist Area..., but also open the door to cooperation, linking tours - routes, exchanging tourist sources and tourism development experiences between localities.
