This year's tournament attracted 343 athletes from 36 provinces, cities and sectors across the country. The athletes competed in 3 events on the stage: Lowkick, Fullcontact, K1 in a knockout format. Each match consisted of 3 rounds, each round lasting 2 minutes with a 1-minute break between rounds. The host team Bac Ninh had 7 athletes competing in all events: Lowkick, Fullcontact and K1.
The reigning SEA Games champion and Asian runner-up Trieu Phuong Thuy is in good form.
After the qualifying round, from June 18 to 22, the athletes entered the quarter-finals and semi-finals. The focus of attention for fans as well as experts is the performance and bravery of Asian runner-up Trieu Phuong Thuy. According to the schedule, today (June 18), Phuong Thuy will have a match against boxer Tran Thi Tuoi, 52kg class. With a long history of achievements and current performance, Trieu Phuong Thuy is showing that she has almost no opponents in domestic tournaments.

The 2025 National Kickboxing Championship is an opportunity for athletes to exchange, compete, and improve their skills; at the same time, it helps experts review and select excellent athletes for the national team to compete in international arenas.
From June 18 to 22, exciting matches will take place at Bac Ninh Provincial Gymnasium.
In particular, this is also an opportunity for Bac Ninh to promote and introduce its dynamic, creative and culturally rich development image to domestic and international friends and tourists.
On this occasion, the Vietnam Kickboxing Federation also awarded Certificates of Merit to coaches and athletes who achieved results at the 1st World Kickboxing Cup Championship in 2025 in Thailand.
