Son La enthusiastically responded to the activity "Moving forward with Vietnam"

(sonla.gov.vn) On the morning of August 16, 2025, at Tay Bac Square, Son La province, in harmony with the spirit of the whole country, Son La Provincial Police and the Representative Office of Nhan Dan Newspaper in Son La organized the activity "Moving forward with Vietnam" with the message "One billion steps into the new era", celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025), National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025) and Traditional Day of the People's Police (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025).

The program was broadcast at Ba Dinh Square, Hanoi . In Son La province, the activity was organized at the provincial level and simultaneously in communes and wards in the province, attracting a large number of cadres, party members, people, police officers and soldiers to participate.

Attending the activity at the Son La province bridge, there were comrade Nguyen Dinh Viet, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; leaders, cadres, civil servants, and public employees of departments, branches, sectors, and socio- political organizations of the province; more than 4,000 cadres, soldiers, teachers, students, and students of schools, universities, and colleges, and people of the wards of To Hieu, Chieng Coi, Chieng Sinh, and Chieng An, along with over 15,000 people participating at the bridge points of communes and wards in the province.

Immediately after the activity in Hanoi, at the Son La province bridge, comrade Nguyen Dinh Viet, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, praised the Provincial Police and the Representative Office of Nhan Dan Newspaper in Son La province for accompanying and closely coordinating to organize this meaningful event; commended the sense of responsibility, proactiveness of agencies, units, departments, unions, Party committees, authorities of communes, wards and the majority of people for the event. With the spirit of "No need to go far. Right where you live. Just a heart towards the fatherland. Let's move forward with Vietnam", he launched the walking activity "Moving forward with Vietnam - 1 billion steps into the new era". Through this activity, it contributes to consolidating and maintaining the solidarity of the people, further strengthening the close affection between the police force and the people, building the image of a brave, humane People's Police soldier serving the people.
