Major Ha Minh Tuan, Deputy Chief of To Hieu Ward Police, said: "We urge officers and soldiers to strictly follow instructions and proactively handle all types of crimes, not allowing sudden or unexpected incidents to occur."
At Chieng Coi walking street, where many cultural, artistic and culinary activities take place on National Day, the number of visitors increased many times compared to normal days.
Chieng Coi Ward Police mobilized 100% of its forces, coordinated to set up checkpoints and patrol along the street to prevent theft and disorder, and ensure safety for people and tourists.

Lieutenant Colonel Le Hong Thanh, Chief of Chieng Coi Ward Police, emphasized: "We especially focus on ensuring security and order on the walking street, while at the same time promoting business establishments to strictly comply with legal regulations."
Along with strengthening security in crowded areas, Son La police have launched high-profile campaigns to attack and suppress crime. In August, the authorities investigated and discovered 19 cases and 34 subjects of social order crimes (reaching 90.48%).
Also in August, Son La Provincial Police discovered and arrested 46 cases and 64 subjects for drug crimes, and handled many cases of commercial fraud, counterfeit goods production, and cyberspace violations on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day on September 2.
