The Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is a 20th century monument in the middle of the historic Ba Dinh Square. It is also the most beautiful and vivid symbol of “the people’s will and the Party’s will” and the spirit of national solidarity; a sacred symbol of Vietnamese belief, ideals, bravery, culture and a bridge of friendship between the Vietnamese people and international friends.

Over the past 5 years, the Party Committee of Group 969 has had many policies and solutions focusing on leadership, direction, organization and implementation of the goals and tasks set out by the 10th Party Congress of Group 969 for the 2020-2025 term, making worthy contributions to the cause of protecting the Party's ideological foundation and maintaining the people's trust. In particular, Group 969 has successfully completed the task of preserving President Ho Chi Minh's body; ensuring security, ceremonies, and welcoming people and international friends to visit Uncle Ho.

In medical work, the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Command has well performed the task of caring for and preserving President Ho Chi Minh's body in the best condition. Focusing on building a regular, scientific, modern, completely independent and autonomous Institute 69 in research, innovating processes and equipment to preserve Uncle Ho's body; effectively maintaining the traditional relationship with the Moscow Biomedical Research Center, under the Russian Federation Institute of Medicinal Materials and Essential Oils (VILAR). At the same time, expanding cooperation with research institutes and universities inside and outside the Army.

In technical work, the unit has managed and safely operated the technical equipment system, ensuring parameters in accordance with regulations; has implemented many projects with high-tech equipment systems in a modern, economical, and environmentally friendly direction; renovated the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Ba Dinh Square, K9 Relic Site, Monument to Heroes and Martyrs... At the same time, it has well implemented combat readiness work, ensured security and safety, regularly maintained combat readiness forces, rapid response forces, proactively detected and promptly handled incidents related to regional security; solemnly and properly performed rituals and ceremonies at the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and Ba Dinh Square.

The Party Committee of Group 969 has focused on leading the improvement of the quality of reception and propaganda work, ensuring the environmental landscape of the Mausoleum and Ba Dinh Square to serve the people and international visitors who come to pay their respects to President Ho Chi Minh, commemorate the heroic martyrs and visit. Coordinate with news agencies and newspapers inside and outside the Army to promote propaganda and education work, contributing to spreading the ideology, morality, style of Ho Chi Minh and the political tasks of the unit.

One of the decisive factors for success is that the Party Committee of Group 969 always closely follows the direction from above, concretizes it through annual and quarterly leadership resolutions; assigns committee members to be in charge of each field; at the same time, organizes timely and substantive evaluation of the results of each target and task. Party building work is always placed in a key position. The Party Committee focuses on leading the work of political and ideological education, fostering honor and pride for cadres, party members, and the masses, always steadfast in revolutionary goals and ideals, and absolutely loyal to the Party, the Fatherland, and the people. Strengthens the role of setting examples and training the qualities of cadres and party members according to the motto: "Loyalty, creativity, dedication, thoughtfulness". Organizes the implementation of the model "4 good Party cells, 5 exemplary party members" associated with building a clean and strong party organization.

Along with that, the Party Committee of Group 969 focuses on performing well the inspection, supervision and discipline work of the Party. Strictly implementing the regulations and rules on personnel work. Evaluating cadres, planning, training, appointing, creating a source of high-quality cadres, meeting immediate and long-term tasks. The Party Committee effectively leads the implementation of grassroots democracy regulations, promoting collective intelligence, and building internal solidarity. Therefore, the working methods and styles of cadres and party members are innovated in a scientific, practical direction, reducing intermediaries. The application of information technology in management and operation has helped improve the overall efficiency of operations.

The Emulation Movement for Victory, major campaigns of the unit such as "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style" are closely linked with the implementation of political tasks, contributing to spreading the image of soldiers protecting the Mausoleum with courage, discipline, exemplary, and dedication...

Promoting the results and valuable lessons learned in the past term, the Party Committee of Group 969 clearly identified the direction and solutions for the leadership of the next term in a comprehensive, focused and key direction. Accordingly, it is necessary to always closely follow the leadership and direction of the Party, the State, the Central Military Commission, and the Ministry of National Defense; proactively advise and effectively implement the task of preserving President Ho Chi Minh's body and promoting the political, historical and cultural values of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Relic Site in the new period.

With the consistent policy of identifying breakthroughs and key areas, resolutely overcoming weaknesses and weaknesses. Strengthening inter-sectoral and inter-agency coordination, international cooperation, mobilizing resources, technology, and advanced experience. Focusing on building a clean and strong Party organization; improving the quality of Party committees and leading cadres; focusing on developing a team of highly qualified medical and technical cadres; taking good care of the lives of cadres and soldiers; promoting democracy at the grassroots level, creating sustainable emulation momentum. In particular, continuing to innovate propaganda work on the political and cultural values of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, stepping up the fight against erroneous viewpoints, protecting the leader's image and the Party's ideological foundation.

The Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum has become an everlasting symbol of patriotism, intelligence, spirit and Vietnamese culture. Carrying out the mission of preserving the body of President Ho Chi Minh is the highest expression of loyalty, pride and special political responsibility that the Party, State, Army and people have entrusted to the Party Committee of Group 969 and the Command of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum.
