For example, the subject of geography will have changed geographical boundaries, the geographical knowledge will also be different, and the history of the region will also need to be updated when the new province is associated with new place names, famous people, and historical figures associated with the new province…
Voters in Hung Yen province have requested the Ministry of Education and Training to adjust and supplement the content of some subjects in the general education curriculum to suit the reality following the province's merger.
In response to this, Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son stated that the Ministry had reviewed the 2018 General Education Program, the curriculum for subjects and educational activities, the required learning outcomes for each content and topic; the content of textbooks for subjects and educational activities at all levels, comparing them with the implementation of administrative unit restructuring at all levels, building a two-tiered local government organizational model, and identifying necessary amendments and additions.
The review results indicate that the subjects of history and geography, and economics and law education need adjustment.
The expert council on various subjects has proposed revisions and additions to align with the restructuring of administrative units at all levels and the development of a two-tiered local government organizational model. The Minister of Education and Training affirmed that the revised curricula for several subjects and educational activities will be issued as soon as possible.
Previously, the Ministry of Education and Training identified several subjects that would be directly impacted by changes in administrative boundaries when implementing the two-tiered local government model. These included history and geography in grades 4, 5, and 9; geography in grade 12; and history and economic and legal education in grade 10.
These subjects will follow the prescribed steps to revise the curriculum as a basis for revising textbooks, such as updating learning objectives, knowledge content, place names, data, maps, charts, and socio-economic information...
The revision of the curriculum is carried out on the principle of minimizing changes to textbooks, and strengthening guidance to enable teachers and schools to proactively implement the curriculum within their authority to suit the reality.

Afterward, I was selected to join the permanent militia (receiving daily allowances, food allowances, and social insurance and health insurance contributions).
