In July 2025, Subaru continues to implement a genuine incentive program for the Forester model. The incentives for this Japanese car model remain unchanged compared to June 2025.
Accordingly, this July, the standard Subaru Forester 2.0 iL version has a discount of 170 million VND. The price after the discount is only 799 million VND.
Meanwhile, the mid-range Forester 2.0 iL EyeSight version has been reduced by 200 million VND, down to 899 million VND. The highest-end version, 2.0 iS EyeSight, also has the biggest price reduction of 230 million VND, down to only 969 million VND.
Thanks to the actual selling price of only 799 - 969 million VND, Subaru Forester has shortened the gap with competitors such as Mazda CX-5, Ford Territory and Hyundai Tucson and is cheaper than Honda CR-V.
Like previous months, Subaru Forester continues to be the model with the highest discount in the C-size SUV segment. Meanwhile, Honda CR-V is offered a 50% discount on registration fees for the G and L 2WD versions, worth VND51 - 55 million. The CR-V e:HEV RS version will receive a 1-year Honda Brand insurance and a fixed interest rate of 3.9% for the first 6 months.
With the Ford Territory, the company supports 100% of the registration fee for all 4 versions. Therefore, customers will save from 76 - 89 million VND when buying this C-size SUV model.
Subaru Forester is imported from Thailand, so its price is not attractive in the C-size SUV segment in Vietnam. In addition, the car also has a rather picky design and the brand has low recognition. Therefore, this car model needs to have incentive and discount programs to maintain its competitiveness.
Subaru Forester has its own advantages such as the modern EyeSight 4.0 safety package, including automatic collision avoidance braking system, automatic emergency steering, adaptive cruise control, lane centering and lane keeping assist.
In addition, this is also a rare C-size SUV in Vietnam equipped with a standard AWD drive system. The car uses a 4-cylinder Boxer engine, 2.0L capacity with a maximum capacity of 154 horsepower and maximum torque of 196 Nm. The engine comes with a continuously variable transmission with 7 virtual gears.
